COME CELEBRATE WITH US our first full year in the surprisingly salubrious Trades Hall basement...

This year's Christmas Party features an endless array of books to buy, drinks to down and, um, comrades to clap on the back - not to mention everyone's favourite acid-tongued columnist, Catherine Deveny!

DRINKS will be served from 5pm downstairs in the shop.

CATH will speak from 6:30pm, just upstairs in Meeting Room 1. Afterwards she will sign copies of her brand new book Free to a Good Home - and then the wild rumpus can continue.

So bring a friend or three to the New International Bookshop Christmas Party - where the books are cheap and the laughs are free! (Actually, entry to hear Cath will be by gold coin donation.)
